Sveti Petar na Moru got its name from the church of St. Peter the Apostle, built in the 18th century. This beautiful church is the central historical and cultural monument of the place, which attracts visitors with its architecture and history and is a symbol of the spiritual heritage of the place. Its architecture reflects the Baroque style, and the interior is decorated with frescoes and altars depicting scenes from the life of Saint Peter.

Along the waterfront in the center of town is the village's drinking water well, built in 1911. This well, which remains full even in the worst droughts, was the main source of drinking water in the region. The inhabitants used it to wash clothes and carried drinking water on donkeys in wooden containers known as wolf pots. The well has two "oysters" for washing and watering livestock.
